Tarangire National Park
Leave Arusha or Moshi at 2:30am for Tarangire National Park. The drive to Tarangire is approximately two hours. After reaching Tarangire, proceed on a game drive for the rest of the day, eating a picnic lunch in the park. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant population, scenery and diverse birdlife. At approximately 6pm, reach Oliver's Camp, a tented camp that offers guided bush walks and night game drives. Tarangire's wildlife includes elephant, lion, giraffe, and many bird and antelope species.
Tarangire National Park
Go on a morning bush walk with Oliver's Camp staff. Return to the camp for brunch. After a short rest, enjoy a game drive. Dinner and overnight at Oliver's Camp.
Tarangire to Manyara Ranch
Morning game drive in Tarangire as you exit the park. Continue to Manyara Ranch, eating a hot lunch at Manyara Ranch after arrival. In the afternoon, go on a game drive from the camp. Return for dinner and after enjoy a night game drive. Manyara Ranch is home to elephant, lion, giraffe and many bird and antelope species.

Full day of activities at Manyara Ranch including walking safaris, night safaris, game drives and horse riding (experienced riders only).
Manyara Ranch to Lake Eyasi
Morning walking safari at Manyara Ranch. Continue to Lake Eyasi after the walk. Arrive at Kisima Ngeda Tented Camp in time for lunch. Receive a cultural tour briefing after lunch. Visit the Datoga Tribe or relax by the pool in the afternoon.
Lake Eyasi
Early morning hunt with the Hadzabe Tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Tanzania. After the hunt, return to Kisima Ngeda for brunch. Visit the Datoga Tribe in the afternoon. Overnight at Kisima Ngeda.
Lake Eyasi to Serengeti National Park
Depart Kisima Ngeda after breakfast for the Central Serengeti. Pass through Ngorongoro Conservation Area along the way to Serengeti National Park. Game drive in the afternoon, viewing the Central Serengeti's resident carnivore population. Arrive at Kiota Camp at 6pm for dinner and overnight. Kiota Camp opens May 2015. Species commonly seen in the Serengeti include wildebeest, cheetah, zebra, lion, giraffe, impala, and leopard. The Serengeti is also home to more than 540 species of birds. Central Serengeti
Full day in the Central Serengeti. Return to Kiota Camp for dinner and overnight. (Optional hot air balloon ride.)
Southern Serengeti (change to Western Serengeti in May and June)
After breakfast, leave for the Southern Serengeti. Spend the rest of the day viewing animals in the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu area. Arrive at Chaka Camp at approximately 6pm. Acquaint yourself with the small tented camp before dark.

Early morning game drive in the Southern Serengeti. Transfer to Ngorongoro Lemala Camp in the afternoon.
Southern Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Early morning game drive in the Southern Serengeti. Transfer to Ngorongoro Lemala Camp in the afternoon.
Ngorongoro Crater
Depart at 6am for Ngorongoro Crater. Spend several hours on the Crater floor before returning to Lemala Camp. Return to the Ngorongoro Lemala Camp for dinner and overnight. Resident Crater wildlife includes lion, hyena, elephant, wildebeest, zebra, black rhinoceros, flamingo, hippopotamus, and cheetah.
Ngorongoro to Arusha
Depart Lemala Camp after a leisurely breakfast. Visit Lake Manyara National Park for a brief game drive on your way back to Arusha. Lake Manyara's wildlife includes elephant, giraffe, baboon, warthog and many species of birds. Note: This itinerary is not available in April and May. It is also possible to fly one way to or from the Serengeti.
